Lastronaut can be said as a pixel-packed visual treat of an endless runner game which is specifically designed for iOS device.
In this game, you will be the last astronaut living in a post-apocalyptic version of earth, where you will have to run as far as you can while destroying anything standing in your way
In the mean time, you will have to try not to get destroyed in the process.
On the other words, you will simply run right, jump, and shoot with the available weapon.
At the beginning of the game, you will be provided with a gun that will not be fun to play with like the purple laser shooter thing, that takes too long to recharge.
Later on, you can get an access to own a new gun by picking up one of the little canisters that will give you a random gun, some of which are far better than others.
Along the game, all you will do is to go as far as you can
When doing so, you will have to avoid the multitude of obstacles on the ground, in the air
Always remember not to touch them, as they will blow you up in slow motion.
Be sure to keep on the lookout and blast anything standing in your way, just jump over if you cannot blast them.
Just jump and shoot to get the missiles and the other objects floating in the air.
In a mission, you will see any power ups that you have to pick to help you in accomplishing your mission.
Whenever you pick up a power-up such as a bottle of laughing gas with a belt around it, you will get a different type of gun.
On the other side, you will have to put in more or less effort to get a lot of kills with a kind of gun you use.
Using homing missiles and flamethrowers will allow you to get the easiest kills toward the obstacles in front of your way.
And, using shotguns will give you a big range but they are not automatic, so you must keep firing them manually.
Meanwhile, the homing laser or the standard straight cannon will take a little bit more thought and strategy to use them correctly.
Throughout the game, the bar at the top left corner of the screen will show you how much distance you still have to cover before hitting your previous record.
If you see the red in the bar, it will tell you the distance you have covered.
And, if you see that the bar is full enough, you will have set a new distance record
At this point, it will be the new benchmark that your future runs are measured against.
When battling with the enemy ship following you and firing at you, you will have to jump and shoot it unless you have the homing missiles, but do not go hurry to kill it.
Here, the other stuff will not come up as often while it is still there
Thus, you should take your time and let the distance rack up by itself.
